A man aged between 45 and 50 was shot dead in front of his house on Van Schalkwyk Street, Witfield, on the evening of August 2.
According to Boksburg North SAPS station commander Colonel Mack Mngomezulu, criminals allegedly followed the victim home before fatally shooting him.
“The killers fired shots at the victim and then drove away. Two men were noted in the getaway car.”
The motive for the shooting is unknown, and the police cannot divulge more information at this stage.
Police are investigating a case of murder.
