
Two men have been arrested in connection with a business robbery at a liquor store at the K90 Centre on January 7.
According to Boksburg North SAPS station commander Colonel Mack Mngomezulu, five men entered the store just before 09:00 and pretended to be customers.
“They held the staff members and customers at gunpoint and robbed the store of an undisclosed amount of money and cigarettes,” said Mngomezulu.
Mngomezulu said through video footage police were able to identify the vehicle that was used by the robbers.
“The vehicle was spotted in the vicinity of the Boksburg North Hotel in the afternoon,” he added.
Police apprehended the suspects and three others are still at large.
