Six EMPD officers have been arrested and detained at the Boksburg SAPS for robbery with aggravating circumstances, extortion and obstructing the course of Justice.

While information remains sketchy at this point, the EMPD could only confirm that one female and five male officers were today (March 5) arrested by the Independent Police Investigative Directorate (IPID) and charged with the above mentioned offences.
