MMC gears up to table Ekurhuleni’s budget speech

The CoE will table its budget speech next week in light of the country’s 2025 National Budget Speech delivered on May 21.

MMC for Finance, Jongizizwe Dlabathi, will deliver the city’s budget speech on May 29.
Metro spokesperson Zweli Dlamini said this year’s speech would underscore the city’s commitment to financial sustainability and revenue enhancement and strongly emphasise service delivery and local economic development.
The event will start at 10:00 at the OR Tambo Government Precinct Civic Centre in Germiston.
