Suspects gun down man

A 35-year-old man was recently shot dead on Larkspur Street, Reiger Park.
According to Constable Johannes Msimanga, the spokesperson for the Reiger Park SAPS, the victim was approached by a man and two women that evening.
“One of the suspects allegedly opened fire on the victim, striking him once in the back and twice in the legs.
“Despite sustaining multiple gunshot wounds, the victim tried to flee but, unfortunately, fell and succumbed to his injuries.”
The police and the EMS were called to the scene, and the EMS pronounced the man dead.
Msimanga said it is believed the shooting was gang-related.
