Four passengers have sustained serious injuries following a collision involving a minibus and a motorcycle on the corner of Trichardt and Edgar roads on Saturday (July 26).

According to a statement from the EMPD, officers from the bike unit responded to the scene at 11:00.

It is alleged that the minibus, carrying 15 passengers, collided with the motorcycle and subsequently overturned.

Four of the passengers from the minibus were seriously injured and transported to Tambo Memorial Hospital for medical treatment.

The motorcyclist sustained minor injuries.
