Round Table Boksburg gives home groceries

When the need arises, the Round Table Boksburg 17’s koskas steps in. Their latest donation brings comfort and relief to the residents of IGugulethu.

The Round Table Boksburg 17 has reaffirmed its commitment to community upliftment with a recent donation to IGugulethu, formerly known as the Jubilee Home.

The Table handed over groceries valued at approximately R2 000, offering immediate relief and much-needed support to the residents.

Treasurer Cuan Maizey said the contribution was made possible through the Table’s ongoing R2 Projects, an initiative in which members collect canned goods and other non-perishables from the public.

These items are stored in the Table’s koskas (pantry), allowing it to quickly respond whenever a local family or organisation needs help.

Round Table, a service organisation for young men, focuses on community service, fellowship, and personal development. Members build lifelong friendships, sharpen social and business skills, and contribute meaningfully to their communities while embodying the organisation’s motto: Adopt. Adapt. Improve.
