WINNING IMAGE OF THE MONTH: Reaching Out (David MacIntyre)

How long have you been a member? About 10 years.
Skill level? 5-star masters gold.
Where was the image taken? Mongena Dam, Dinokeng.
What inspired the image? The morning light on birds in flight.
Camera settings? f7.1, ISO 1600, 1/4000sec using a Canon R5ii and Rf100-500mm lens @ 500mm.
Why do you enjoy being a member of the club? Meeting with other like-minded photographers who enjoy photography, improving my skills, club outings and general comraderie.
What you enjoy most about photography and why? I enjoy taking a great photo that I have visualised. Realising there is always room to learn and improve is a motivator that keeps me busy.
