St Dom’s learners learn self-defence skills
During the course, learners wrote a fear or insecurity on a wooden plank before punching through it.
In a powerful display of resilience and determination, Grade 10 learners from St Dominic’s School recently participated in a comprehensive self-defence course.
The 16-year-old girls learned vital skills to protect themselves and boost their confidence.
The course was led by Woman Impowered.
The training culminated in a symbolic exercise where each student wrote a fear or insecurity on a wooden plank before punching through it, shattering both the wood and their doubts.
