Movember: Changing the face of men’s health

Movember is here, and local residents are supporting the cause.

Movember is an annual movement where men grow moustaches throughout November to raise awareness about men’s health issues, such as prostate cancer, testicular cancer, and mental health.

The aim of Movember is simply to change the face of men’s health.

By getting men involved, the campaign promotes early detection, timely diagnosis, and effective treatment, ultimately reducing preventable deaths.

In addition to encouraging regular check-ups, Movember highlights the importance of knowing one’s family medical history and living a healthier lifestyle.

Boksburg Advertiser spoke to a few locals about why they support Movember.
