Boksburg North SAPS officers back in court

The officers allegedly forced their way into the premises and robbed the owner of the cables.

The two Boksburg North police officers arrested for cable theft appeared in the Boksburg Magistrate’s Court on July 17.

Sergeants Pretty Ndlovu and Solomon Hlengane face charges of copper theft, defeating the ends of justice and common robbery.

They were arrested at work on February 1 by the Independent Police Investigative Directorate. Each was granted R3 000 bail.

The matter was postponed to August 17 for further investigation.
