Thriller gets Boksburg in final
Boksburg Rugby Club's first team won a high-scoring thriller against Springs last Saturday, June 29, at Prince George Park.

The local side won 50-49.
This was an intense match as the winner would qualify for the Valke League final.
Boksburg will now face Brakpan, in Brakpan, in the final on July 13.
Saturday was the end of the Valke League and now teams will be preparing for the Predator League, which kicks off on July 20.
All The Owls’ teams won against Springs.
The second side won 47-12.
This sees them winning the league.
The third side also won their league after beating Springs 41-6.
The u-21s will also play in the league final against Brakpan. They beat Springs 54-7.
The u-19 side, who have struggled for most of the season, seem to have turned the corner and will be looking forward to facing teams from the Lions and Bulls leagues.
They won against Springs 49-0.
Although Brakpan is ranked as the third-best side in the country, Boksburg believes that they can cause upset.
“Everyone has a chance in the final,” says chairman Sean Scheepers.
The winner will play in the Community Cup.
Boksburg’s preparations have been going as if they were preparing for any normal match.
“We are not doing anything differently. We going to treat it as just another game against Brakpan.”
Scheepers called out to local supporters to go to Brakpan to cheer for Boksburg on Saturday, July 13.
The u-21 side will play their match at 1.30pm and the first team plays at 4pm.
