Provincial Government to launch school sports leagues

According to a report from the GPG, the purpose of this launch is to bring back the nostalgia of a vibrant school sports programme in the province.

The Gauteng MEC for Education, Panyaza Lesufi, will be hosting the launch.

Proceedings will begin from 1pm until 3.30pm.

Project goals for the launch are as follows:

* Promote unity and social cohesion.

* Enhance fair play

* Increase opportunities of participation.

* Raising awareness of cultural diversity and espouse values of team work.

The targeted sporting codes are football, netball, volleyball and rugby. – @SabeloBoksburg
