Thanks to organisers of Cross The Line Half-Marathon for great race

"First timers to road running went away with no shadow of a doubt that everything went smoothly."

I am sure that many runners, especially the golden oldies, would strongly support me when I say the Cross The Line Half-Marathon at Food Lover’s Market in Boksburg on April 16 was the best organised race we had the privilege of being a part of in a very long time.

It was totally professional in all aspects from race entries, collection and on race day. Everything was seamless with no glitches.

The marshals were great, there was plenty of cold water and the great T-shirt participants received, and not forgetting the handouts at the end of the race.

Hats off to the race organiser Carol Wallace and race director Kate Wood.

What an unbelievable show they put together. Hats off to all the sponsors of the event as well. Everything worked like a well-oiled machine. It was a pleasure to take part in the whole proceedings.

Ladies, you deserve a gold medal for everything you put together on the day. First timers to road running went away with no shadow of a doubt that everything went smoothly.
