St Dominic’s netball players make provincial team
The SASN tournament keeps girls on their toes because Gauteng has its team.
Three St Dominic’s learners will represent Gauteng in the South African School’s Netball (SASN) tournament in June and July.
To qualify, they underwent trials last month at Hoërskool Florida.
Michaela Thethe was selected for the U12 team, Vinah Mokgatle for U16 and Celeste Matsuadza for U17.
Matsuadza ranks in the top 35 netball players in her age group in SA, a ranking she earned last year.
“The girls are excited about this journey. They work hard and have lots of motivation,” said Sharon Antonizzi of the school’s marketing department.
