Boksburg to take on Springs in bowl final
The Owls will take on Springs Rugby Club in the bowl final on April 27.
Boksburg Rugby Club will take on Springs in the President’s Cup bowl final following a convincing 100-26 victory over Elsburg at PG Park on April 20.
The Owls’ second team also had a good day at the office and won 38-5 against Elsburg.
Furthermore, Boksburg’s U21 team defeated Springs 35-23.
Renier Mostert, Boksburg’s chairperson, said he thrilled by the outstanding performance of all the teams this past weekend.
“This remarkable achievement speaks volumes about the talent and dedication within our club. As we bask in this success, we eagerly anticipate the President’s Cup bowl final,” said Mostert.
Mostert said the coaches have identified numerous areas for improvement, which will take priority during training.
“I have full confidence in our team’s ability to rise to the occasion once again, and I urge our players and supporters to rally behind them as we strive for yet another memorable triumph. Let’s continue our journey of excellence together,” he added.
The bowl final will take place at Springs Rugby Club on April 27.
