The Benoni Northerns Athletic Club (BNAC) will host the BNAC marathon at the Benoni Northerns Sports Club on April 13.
The event includes the Comrades Marathon qualifier 42.2km race, 21.1km race, 10km and 5km, as well as a 48km ultramarathon.
Last year Samuel Matsepe and Elrize Kruger won the men’s and women’s marathons while Mziwonke Ngendu and Nancy Barber clinched the 48km ultramarathon titles.
Bennet Seloyi and Lebo Phalula-Luthuli won the men’s and women’s half-marathon and young Luke Spencer and K-Way Jeppe runner Holly Thomas won the 5km race.
Entries are still open and the first 250 entrants for the marathon and ultramarathon will receive a T-shirt.
