CBC Boksburg first team clinches InterCBC hockey championship title
Christian Brothers College Boksburg’s first team hockey squad triumphed at the InterCBC tournament in Pretoria, claiming the championship and earning four players spots on the tournament team.

Christian Brother’s College Boksburg’s first team hockey squad recently emerged as champions of the highly competitive InterCBC tournament in Pretoria.
The team’s performance culminated in lifting the championship trophy, proof of their hard work and dedication during the season.
Marketing manager Nikita Teixeira expressed immense pride in the team’s achievement, saying, “We are thrilled to celebrate the success of our first team hockey players at the InterCBC tournament. Their commitment to excellence and strong team spirit has truly paid off.
This victory not only brings great honour to CBC Boksburg but also inspires younger players to strive for greatness in their sporting endeavours.

“In addition to the team’s overall success, four players from CBC Boksburg were selected for the prestigious InterCBC Tournament Team, recognising their outstanding individual contributions. Alexi Spanos, Connor Ryan, Toka Kalakgosi, and Kayden Van Blommestein were honoured for their skill, leadership and consistent performances throughout the tournament.”
Teixeira said the InterCBC tournament is known for bringing together some of the best school hockey teams in the region, fostering spirited competition and showcasing emerging talent.
