Former Mrs South Africa off to Aruba

Former Mrs South Africa (2011) Lynné de Jager will represent South Africa at the Mrs Universe Pageant, in Aruba, in the Caribbean, from the August 4 to 12.

De Jager (29) was originally due to attend the Mrs World Pageant, scheduled to take place in China, during September.
However, due to the postponement of the Mrs World Pageant and the withdrawal of former Mrs Universe delegate Juanita Mitchell, the Mrs South Africa Organisation elected to offer the opportunity to de Jager to compete at Mrs Universe 2013.
In addition, the Mrs South Africa Organisation will send the newly-crowned Mrs South Africa (2013) to attend the Mrs World Pageant – this date is yet to be confirmed.
De Jager was crowned Mrs South Africa in 2011, and has since then made her mark.
She is well-known and loved by the South African media and public.
The current Mrs South Africa, Fikile Mekgoe, will compete at the Mrs Globe Pageant, in October.

She will unveil her gowns, made by South African designers Michael Bezuidenhout and Anél Botha, at her farewell function, at Emperors Palace, before her departure.
