Ekurhuleni introduces another platform to access statements

In an effort to halt the frustration endured by residents due to various incidents that impede on delivery of monthly municipal account statements, the Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Municipality now provides a facility where your monthly account is available in PDF format to be printed, viewed or mailed.

The service will be available on a permanent basis and customers can access it via the metro’s website, where there will be a link,  or by logging on to www.ekurhuleni.docview.co.za

By following the easy instructions, in a matter of minutes you will be able view or download your statements for the past three months.

In addition, there is a payment link to www.e-siyakhokha.co.za which can be used by those customers who wish to pay their account online.

“The municipality wishes to encourage ratepayers to utilise these platforms which have been introduced for their convenience,” said Ekurhuleni spokesperson Themba Gadebe.

Residents are also reminded to settle their municipal accounts before departing for the holidays to avoid credit control measures being implemented against them.
