Yesterday, December 10, I travelled from the Post Office Spar, along High road, and I saw a man with two cellphones in his hands — one of which he was using to take photos of houses.

What is alarming is the fact that he looked very suspicious and kept on watching me as I drove by.

He started walking in a different direction, but as I was about to turn, I watched him in my rear-view mirror returning to the houses he has been taking pictures of.

A few weeks ago I saw people stealing post from a neighbour down the street.

They were so quick — they stopped, took the post from the post box and left within seconds.

Please be alert of any and every activity in your neighbourhood as it is disturbing to see how these criminals operate and gain access to properties.

Phone the police if anyone looks suspicious even if they sit on the pavement opposite your house.

They are meticulous about every detail of your coming and going and whether or not you have pets and how many people in the household.

They basically know everything about you.
