Woman and children found with throats slit

Help police find the perpetrators.

A 32-year-old woman and four children, aged between two and 12, were found dead with their throats slit in their house in Tsakane Extension Five yesterday (Thursday).

Ekurhuleni mayor Clr Mondli Gungubele has condemned the killing, describing it as ‘barbaric’.

“Whoever is behind this must be arrested as soon as possible and locked away for a long time,” he said.

“Who in their right mind would murder so many people in such a horrible manner?

“I am still trying to recover from this shock. In fact, as a parent I have shivers going down my spine when I try to imagine that scene.”

Gungubele appealed to the community to work with the police in finding the perpetrators.
