Village of Hope calls on the community for additional support to scale its impact

The local NPO requires more assistance to meet growing needs.

The team from Brakpan-based non-profit organisation Village of Hope visited disadvantaged families at Sallies Hostel on October 27 as part of their ongoing community outreach initiative.

NPO founder Tumie Masolane told the Brakpan Herald that during the visit, the team witnessed significant challenges faced by many families, with urgent needs for food, clothing and other basic essentials.

“We continue to receive heartbreaking messages from community members asking for assistance, highlighting the growing need for support,” said Tumie.

“Village of Hope is appealing to businesses, organisations, individuals and potential donors to join hands with us in helping these families.

“Our goal is to organise food parcels and provide essential items to households experiencing hardship. With additional support, we hope to reach more families and respond to their needs with dignity and compassion.”

Village of Hope extends sincere gratitude to Logan Naina from Rise Against Hunger, under Inner Voice Foundation, Pick n Pay Mall@Carnival for consistently supporting this initiative, Sallies Hostel community members for their continued cooperation, and the Village of Hope team for their dedication and service.

“Together, we can bring hope to families in need and continue our mission to “Reach Out & Touch a Soul”,” added Tumie.
