Prepaid electricity vending system goes offline this afternoon

Customers will not be able to purchase prepaid electricity.

Ekurhuleni residents are advised that the prepaid electricity vending system will not be active from 3pm today (Wednesday) until 3pm tomorrow (Thursday) due to a system update.

Customers will not be able to purchase prepaid electricity from vendors or online.

The Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Municipality apologised for the inconvenience caused.
