Brenthurst Primary School’s Ubuntu focus for the third term was a collection for the Brakpan SPCA.
The project was combined with the school’s Heritage Day celebration and pupils were asked to pay R2 or donate a can of dog food in order to wear their cultural attire.
The initiative was a resounding success and a vast quantity of pet food was collected for the local society.
