Thieves pose as home buyers

A 78-year-old Dalpark resident contacted the Herald after he was robbed by scam artists pretending to be potential buyers.

Jewellery, a camera and its accessories were stolen from his home.

The victim told the Herald he visited the police station to report the crime, but the issue wasn’t handled in a satisfactory manner.

“I just want to warn people,” he said.

The incident took place on Saturday, January 28, at around 3pm.

The thieves were travelling in a white Volkswagen Golf.
