A sweet start to the holidays

Learners from Brenthurst Primary School ended the first school term on a high note and enjoyed a morning of fun and entertainment.

The children were treated to a performance by Candy duo Andy Klee and Cathy Del Mei (Sweeties with a Song), and then hit the playground, where they could enjoy the ups and downs of a trampoline, have a twirl on a hula hoop, play games or have their faces painted.

There was also loads of delicious goodies to eat, as well as a visit from Mr Pritt, who showed off his best dance moves.

The fun day was also held in celebration of the school’s 82nd birthday.

These learners beat the heat with an ice cream cone. They are Bonolo Sibisi (left), Cindicent Mkhonto, Kelsye Castles, Keletso Tsotetsi and Christian Kattroyan.

Educator Mohale Matshethe and Mr Pritt got the learners dancing.

Lethabi Nkosi enjoyed the morning playing outside in the sun.

Bohlale Komane thinks hula hooping is great fun.

Having loads of fun on the trampoline is Deneillo Maroos.
