
Scores of crèche-going youngsters from across Ekurhuleni will battle it out on the playground during the final leg of the Ekurhuleni Kiddies Metro Games 2017 at the Germiston Stadium on Saturday.
Children between the ages of four and six participated in all three levels of the programme, while participation of those under the age of three was only limited to the first stage, with emphasis on activities that focus on physical development skills.
The metro games is a three phase programme namely, area games and regional games.
Activities on the day include ball throwing, ball hopping; tyre race; ball kicking and dribbling, cycling and a sack race.
The games start at 9am and the Germiston Stadium is situated along Delville Road.
