On Friday, staff and customers of Makro Carnival popped into the South African National Blood Service (SANBS) mobile clinic on the premises to donate blood. The SANBS aims to collect 3 000 units of blood per day to ensure a safe and sufficient blood supply in the health care system. Helping to save lives are Makro staff members Pretty Mahlangu (left), Sylvia Ndaba, Brian Mmoni and Cleo Kunene.
