Arrests:

• Stock theft: 1
• Possession of stolen property: 2
• Shoplifting: 1
• Business burglary: 1
• Possession of drugs: 2
• Drunk driving and possession of drugs: 1

Robbery:

• A woman was robbed of her handbag at the corner of Voortrekker Road and High Street, yesterday (Thursday).

A thief snatched the bag from the victim at around 4pm, as she was walking to the CBD.

The bag contained a cellphone, cash and cosmetics.

Burglary:

• Nash Crescent, in Brakpan North.

The home was burgled yesterday.

Stolen: A TV, laptop and groceries.

• Gardiner Avenue.

The break-in took place on Wednesday.

Stolen: A laptop.

• Van Schoor Street, in Brakpan North.

The property was broken into on Wednesday.

Stolen: A TV and a tablet.

• Northdene Avenue.

The home was burgled on Tuesday.

Stolen: Cash and a fridge.

• Voortrekker Road (vacant building).

A man was seen breaking into the property yesterday and was later arrested.

Nothing was stolen.

• Andries Street, in Sunair Park.

The break-in took place yesterday.

Stolen: A TV, tablet, jewellery and other household items.

• Victoria Avenue.

The home was burgled on Monday.

Stolen: Kitchen appliances and a record player.

The items were recovered and a suspect was arrested.
