Curro Helderwyk learner Caitlyn-Lee Havenga excelled in the South African National Equestrian Schools Association (Sanesa) Newcomers’ Challenge.
She participated in four qualifying events during the course of the year and won the trophy for scoring the third most points for her school.
Caitlyn-Lee was then promoted to Nationals, where she rode for Gauteng and took first place in the Performance Riding category.
She also finished fifth in the Working Riding category.
