Weekend crime round-up

According to information received, the following crimes were reported to Brakpan police over the weekend:

• Friday – A motorbike was stolen from an address along Jones Street.

Dogs on the premises were poisoned.

* Cellphones and other valuables were stolen from a vehicle parked along Acton Street in Dalview.

* A car parked along Victoria Avenue was broken into.

A wallet, three packets of cigarettes and other goods were stolen from the vehicle.

* TVs were stolen during a break-in at a home in Waterberry Street, Dalpark.

* A trailer was stolen from a property along Nash Crescent, Brakpan North.

• Saturday – No priority crimes were reported at the time of publication.

• Sunday – A blue Ford Sierra was stolen from Taft Street.

Other cases reported:

• Thursday – A home in Saffron Street, Dalpark, was burgled of clothes, shoes and an iron.

• Drunk driving: 2
• Possession of drugs: 3
• Selling liquor without a licence: 4
• Malicious damage to property: 4
• Shoplifting: 2

• Dealing/possession of drugs: 1
• Assault: 2
