End of the high life for suspected drug dealers
The suspects were charged for possession and dealing in narcotics.
The EMPD Drug Enforcement Unit arrested three suspected nyaope dealers during routine patrols in Brakpan and Tsakane on Friday.
The total value of nyaope seized is estimated to be worth just over R6 000.
According to EMPD spokesperson Chief Supt Wilfred Kgasago, the first arrest took place at 9am along Amanzimtoti Street in Tsakane Extension Four.

“A 30-year-old male suspect was handcuffed when found in possession of nyaope valued at R300,” he said.
“The second dealer was nabbed at 9.40am in Victoria Street in Brakpan.”
The 33-year-old Nigerian national was found in possession of 23 packets valued at R4 000.
Around midday, a 55-year-old woman was arrested along Madadeni Street in Tsakane with 36 packets worth R1 800.
The suspects were charged for possession and dealing in narcotics.
