No water in parts of Brakpan

Water tankers have been dispatched.

An unplanned water supply interruption is currently affecting Tsakani, Langaville, Geluksdal and Withok Estates.

According to information received from the City of Ekurhuleni, pump stations at the Zulu and Xhosa reservoirs have been switched off due to low water pressure from Rand Water supply.

Water tankers have been dispatched and are located in the following areas:

• Pholosong Hospital

• Withok Estates plots

• Phuthanang Clinic

• Tsakane Extension 10 Clinic.

There is also a roving tanker between extensions 15, 16 and 17.

Two more tankers are still expected to be dispatched to ensure adequate supply of water.
