• 10 September
Brakpan parkrun is open every Saturday at 07:50 at the Brakpan Sports Centre (across from the library). Runners, walkers and volunteers are welcome. It is free, just bring your running tag/ barcode. You run, walk or jog at our own pace.

• October 1
A wellness day will be held at NG Gemeente Brakpan-Oos, 79 Boundary Road, from 09:00 to 15:00. Presented by Shivdev Training Academy, the session aims to help you attain a better body, mind and soul. All ages welcome. To book your seat, contact Hester Bosch on 083 307 0649.

• 22 Oktober
Sonneveld Akademie bied ‘n visvangkompetisie by Mihanzi Vaaldam aan. Inskrywingsfooie is R200 per hengelspan van twee. Vir meer inligting kontak Suzette op 083 297 3041.

• December 8
The Brakpan SPCA’s golf day will take place at State Mines Country Club. A four ball costs R2 000. For more information send an email to manager@brakpanspca.co.za

A second-hand clothing sale will take place on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 08:00 to 11:30 at NG Kerk Brakpan-Oos, corner of Boundary Road and High Street. Good quality clothing is available at discount prices. Call Hester Bosch on 083 307 0649.
