DA visits Brakpan SAPS
#DAGautengPoliceWatch campaign makes a stop at local police station.
Brakpan ward councillors and other DA representatives recently visited the Brakpan Police Station as part of the #DAGautengPoliceWatch campaign.
All 143 police stations throughout the province will be visited. The purpose is to look at resources at the stations and compile an independent report.
“Through this exercise, we will be able to not only identify the problems but look at what can be done going forward to change the status quo,” said Ward 97 Clr Brandon Pretorius.
“The visit was well received and welcomed. It painted a picture of a well-managed police station.
“Concerns were received and details provided. The individual report will form part of the completed document once all the visits have been concluded.”
