Rata to hold awareness walk
World Aids Day will be observed on the day and the walk will also highlight the scourge of women and child abuse.
Rata Social Services and other stakeholders will hold an awareness walk on December 1 in commemoration of World Aids Day and the 16 Days Of Activism against Gender-Based Violence campaign.
Members of the community are welcome to join.
The walk starts at 08:30 from the Brakpan Sports Stadium.
Don’t forget your walking shoes, water, sunscreen and a hat.
