Principal bowled over by award
Logan Naina has been involved in cricket for over two decades.
Dalpark Private School principal Logan Naina was the recipient of award at the CSA (Cricket South Africa) National Awards held at Vodaworld in Midrand on July 7.
Naina received two nominations at the awards, both stemming from his involvement in KFC Minicricket in Brakpan and at Easterns Cricket for over 21 years.
The first nomination was for Minicricket Coach of the Year and the second was for the KFC Bucket Loads of Good Award for going above and beyond the call of duty, as a volunteer, to ensure that young children get to experience the sport of minicricket. Naina won the KFC Bucket Loads of Good Award.
“It was thrilling to share a stage with the likes of Temba Bavuma, Reeza Hendricks and other winners at the awards ceremony,” he said.
