Dalview haven sows hope for the needy
The shelter is a well-secured place of safety for anyone in need.
Soul Outreach and Upliftment Centre provides safe overnight shelter for those in need, a warm shower, a plate of food and fresh clothes if needed.
The fee per night is R60, and dinner is served at 18:00 in the communal dining hall. Four beds are available in the women’s hostel and three in the men’s hostel.
The shelter opens at 16:00 and closes at 20:00 for security reasons. There is a play area for children, and the shelter provides safe transport to and from primary schools.
The shelter is thankful for all the donations over the past five years, which made building this place of safety possible.
The shelter is on 157 Hamilton Avenue in Dalview. For more information, call Martina Stickling on 081 745 7182.
