Red Cross ‘walk for change’ is around the corner
The event will be held on April 7 at the Eventide Old Age Home.
The Red Cross and Eventide Old Age Home will hold a ‘walk for change’ fundraiser on April 7.
There will be a 5km, 10km and children’s walk, as well as participation medals.
The cost for participating is R70 for the 5km walk, R100 for the 10km walk and R45 for the children’s walk (U18s).
Boerewors rolls and cold drinks will be on sale.
The funds raised will go towards caring for the elderly residents at the home, which is located at 7 Derby Avenue.
