Driver hijacked after stopping to urinate
The victim was also held captive by his attackers.
A driver who stopped to urinate on the side of the road found himself at the mercy of hijackers.
According to police information, the incident took place along Strauss Street in Van Eck Park on Tuesday and involved at least four hijackers.
The victim, driving a company-owned white Toyota Quantum, pulled over at around 09:30 and got out of the vehicle to relieve himself.
He then noticed a red Kia Picanto stop behind him and a man came running towards him. The victim tried to return to the Quantum but a silver-coloured Volvo also stopped, blocking his path.

He was threatened with a gun and told to get into the Volvo, where his face was covered and he was forced to lie down on the back seat.
The victim was held captive for over two hours and was dropped off near Lenasia. He sustained injuries to his neck during the ordeal.
Electrical cables and switch gear with a combined value of about R100 000 were stolen along with the Quantum.
Cases of hijacking and kidnapping are under investigation by Brakpan SAPS.
