Punisher, Bulldog win their slap fights
Bulldog is now the super heavyweight champion on the Punisher Slap Fight circuit.
Brakpan slap fighters Bobby ‘The Punisher’ Krisch and Pieter ‘Bulldog’ Vorster competed on Saturday in Pretoria.
Krisch won his semi-final heavyweight match, and Vorster won the title for the super heavyweight division.
The matches were at the ACP main hall in Proclamation Hill. Krisch fought in three rounds against Francois ‘Whiplash’ Nel in the co-main event, coming out on top and moving to the finals.
Vorster fought five rounds, winning by one point against Tjaart ‘Piston’ Kruger, and will have a rematch with Tjaart later in the year.
He now carries the title belt, and is excited to represent Brakpan.
“To be a champ at my age is a huge honour from God. I thank all my supporters, my wife, who stuck by me, and the community of Brakpan,” he said.
