Starting in first position during the second heat, Liam got off to a great start by pulling away from the pack early on.

This kept him comfortably in the lead throughout the race. The local lad started in pole position during the third heat, where he again led every lap.

The day also saw Liam produce a new personal best time on the track and his lap time also remained unbeaten by the other riders in his class.

Liam will be back in action at the next round on May 31.
