WATCH: PEP holds mini-netball day

PEP Stores held a mini-netball tournament at the netball courts of Laerskool Die Arend on Saturday.

Several regional schools participated, like Arend, Laerskool Jan van Riebeeck, Laerskool Selection Park and Laerskool PAM Brink from Springs.

Other participants were developing schools from informal settlements in the area.

The day helped these schools develop their netball teams and improve their skills.

PEP will host these tournaments at schools across SA at 40 venues from March 15 to August 29. A lucky wheel spin awards selected players with R100 PEP vouchers.

While scores were kept, the games were friendlies and played to expose new players to the sport, not for a win.
