Exhilarating entertainment promises to be the order of the day at the Sixth Annual Fly-Mu Fly and Music Festival. This Masonic charity fundraiser will take place at the Brakpan Airfield from 09:00 till late. Fly-Mu, a combination of flying and music, is the brainchild of Fanie Bezuidenhout, who lost his life in an aeroplane crash at the Springs Airfield in 2023. • The Brakpan SPCA will hold their Annual General Meeting at 14:00 at My Plekkie Coffee Shop, 61 Hendrik Potgieter Street, Dalview. RSVP by July 19 to manager@brakpanspca.co.za

The Just Wheels Club’s open day will take place from 09:00 until late at 169 Kitzinger Avenue in Dalview. There will be music, a flea market, food stalls, children’s entertainment and pony rides. Entrance is free. Call 082 263 7567.

Rock out at Barnyard Theatre Emperors Palace’s More than a Feeling – Greatest Rock Anthems show in aid of Hoërskool Die Anker learner Nythin Marcus (Italy rugby tour). The show starts at 14:00. Tickets on sale until July 31. Call Lourinda Marcus on 074 998 7823.

• The Golden Oldies Social Club meets every Thursday from 08:30 to 11:30 at 134 Gardiner Street. It is open for anyone over 55 with nothing to do. The club does various crafts, plays boardgames and is planning a breakfast outing this year. For more information, contact Ursula Edwards on 082 491 6217.

• Brakpan parkrun is open every Saturday at 07:50 at the Brakpan Sports Centre (across from the library). Runners, walkers and volunteers are welcome. It is free, bring your running tag/barcode. You run, walk or jog at your own pace.
• Die Brakpan-tak van die Vroue Landbou Unie vergader elke tweede Dinsdag van die maand om 10:00 by die Just Wheels Motorklub klubhuis, Kitzingerlaan 169. Belangstellendes kan Elsabe Grobler by 082 891 4514 kontak.
