On Sunday morning, darts players from all over came together at the Deo Volente venue hall in Withok to break in the Ekurhuleni East Darts Association’s new clubhouse.
Drawn doubles, men’s singles and ladies’ singles competitions were held, with the entry fee being pooled to form the cash prizes for winners and runners-up. People as far as Secunda and Carletonville joined the occasion for a chance at the prizes and to see the new venue.
Part of the grand opening entailed a delicious Sunday lunch, and the bar was well-stocked to quench each player and supporter’s thirst while games were being played.
