Brakpan residents and locals from surrounding towns can now enjoy a bigger and better shopping experience following the launch of the newly revamped Build it Plus Mercury store on Saturday.

The relaunch was marked by a symbolic chain-cutting ceremony, after which hundreds of customers, guests, and visitors were welcomed to explore the modernised 6,000+ square metre store under new ownership and management.

An impressive showcase, with suppliers displaying a wide variety of products, as well as plenty of entertainment and food, added to a pleasant experience.

Under new management, the store has been fully restocked, reorganised, and modernised for better customer flow.

At Build it stores, the ribbon-cutting tradition takes on a unique twist. Instead of a ribbon a chain is used with the official opening symbolised by cutting it with a bolt cutter. Customers can expect a spacious, easy-to-navigate store layout, knowledgeable staff, competitive pricing, and a wide range of quality products all under one roof.

Convenience has been prioritised, from parking to checkout, to make the shopping experience faster and more enjoyable.

In addition to core hardware and building supplies, the store has expanded its product offering with a furniture range, large scale building supplies, board cut and edge, enhanced paint, plumbing, electrical, and garden sections.

Customers can also enjoy improved displays, bulk buy options, and better product signage. In addition, an online store has been launched at www.mercurybuildit.co.za.
