Spring Dance Cup is no challenge for Dancing Stars Gauteng

The National Dance Society of South Africa Spring Dance Cup took place on September 26.

Dancers from Dancing Stars Gauteng, a Brakpan based dance studio, participated in the National Dance Society of South Africa’s (NDSSA) Spring Dance Cup at Woodmead College on September 26.

Two of the dancers, Joshua Oelofse and Jatricia du Plessis, received their inter-provincial colours at the event. Further results were as follows:

• Oelofse and Du Plessis second place in country couples dance.

• Oelofse second for his novice classic line dance, and second in modern ACE dance.

• Marinique van Zyl second in classic line dance (six dances).

• Demi Dolley first in classic line dance.

• Amber Venter first in classic line dance.

• Jordan Phillips third in classic line dance.

• Riley Phillips second in classic line dance.

• Du Plessis third in classic line dance.
