Brakpan police are investigating a case of murder following the death of a man who was admitted to an unidentified hospital on November 12.

According to SAPS information, the man was taken to hospital by ambulance with multiple bruises and a gunshot wound to his arm.

He later succumbed to his injuries.

The N17 highway (eastbound towards Dalpark) has been identified as the suspected scene of the crime.

The man’s body was transferred to the Springs Mortuary.
