Cash games and EGPA league keeps Brakpan Pool Club busy

Several teams and single players did well in the East Gauteng Pool Association league.

Brakpan Pool Club has been keeping busy with both the East Gauteng Pool Association (EGPA) league and cash games between members.

In EGPA league season 2 for 2025, the club achieved the following results:
• Noelene du Preez was the runner-up in the ladies single division.
• Noelene du Preez and Megan Brett won the ladies doubles competition.
• Team No Pressure were the runners-up in the opens elite division.
• Team Spot On were the runners-up in the ladies division.
• Team Last Minute won the seniors super division.

The cash game results were as follows:
• Louise Smit won against Aidan Olivier 7-6.
• Santie Ripke lost to Bianca Mathyser 5-4.
• Shawn Raper played Timmy Amiras and won 7-3, and later beat Marius Lubbe 7-1.
